The Eighteenth report of the Party put forward:“advocating prosperous，democratic，civilized and harmonious，advocating freedom，equality，justice，ruleof law，advocating patriotism，dedication，integrity，friendly，we need to cultivatethe socialist core values.” The socialist core values is the core and soul ofcontemporary Chinese socialist ideology, and it is also the consciousness expressionof moral education. The basic requirements of cultivating and practicing socialist corevalues, promoting popularization of socialist core values is to change the abstracttheory into people’s inner moral quality. Thus, it can guide their practice. The centralgovernment prints the opinions on cultivation and practice of socialist core values,and holds collective learning of it. By these ways, cultivating and carrying forwardsocialist core values becomes a basic engineering to strengthen moral foundation andget all people together. The local government mainly adopts seminars and creating thespiritual activities, it can greatly enhance cultural atmosphere and improve the appealof socialist core values. The popularization of socialist core values is themanifestation of cultivation and practice of socialist core values, is also furtherin-depth of cultivation and practice of socialist core values.
