Since the reform and opening up, the rapid growth of China’s economy, politics,culture, society, people’s livelihood has been greatly developed, people have receivedmany benefits out of it. Under the gratified achievements, a series of social problems andcontradictions have come out, among which the most significant is that a number of crimeshave increased year by year. In2013, the Supreme People’s court statistics, the number ofcrimes are growing at different speed, and crime patterns also tend to diversify,newly-developing and transnational crimes mushroom in number. At present, China is at ahistorical period from agricultural society to industrial society, from traditional to modern,from a planned economy to market economy, The reform leads to an adjustment of interestrelations among people, and also brings about conflicts and interactions among staggeredvalues and belief objects. The traditional ideology which had once played a positive role inthe progress of this country can no longer adapt to the requirement of this new era. Underthe new historical conditions, values and beliefs of traditional socialist mode must be re-interpreted, and given the connotation of the times could enhance the social problems ofinterpretation and reduction ability. The original value system and belief system isgradually disintegrated, and new comprehensive value system is at a construction period,the vacuum between the causes the crisis of faith that will inevitably affect the belief of thelaw. It is in this background that which has become a major issue of our age on how tosolve the law belief crisis.
