The survey found that the farmers’ cultural consciousness desalination performance in three aspects:scientific and cultural quality is low, the dross culture is difficult to distinguish, the main role of deficiency. In the cultivation of farmers working in the cultural consciousness, existing the problems as, lack of rural cultural resources supply, farmers’ cultural cognitive ability is weak, the rural cultural loss of talented people and the fatigue of culture and education of farmers work.The reason lies in the resistance of traditional farming culture, hinder the influence of traditional political culture, the constraints of the rural economy and the associated errors behind the work. The countermeasures are put forward to improve farmers’ cultural consciousness in new rural construction:to promote the rural economic development, increase support of funding, policy and institutional,accelerate the construction of rural market economic system, the development of modern agriculture vigorously, to strengthen rural culture and education, strengthen the rural youth foundation education, strengthen rural adult education system,to promote rural democratic construction, strengthening democracy the system construction, strengthen democracy and the rule of law education, cultivate the sense of democratic participation,the development of rural cultural industry, the construction of rural public cultural service system, to encourage the development of peasants’ culture, strengthen the rural cultural market management.In short, the new rural construction cannot without the prosperity of rural culture, cannot without changing their cultural values. But these in the final analysis depends on the farmers’ cultural consciousness.The cultivation work of farmers’ cultural consciousness is an important support for the new rural construction.It is an important guarantee for the new rural construction, building a harmonious society and to practice the socialist core values.
