A Study On The Current Ideology Of Young Police And The Countermeasure

Young people in China is new force and the main force of the police, undertaking consolidate the important mission of ruling status of the Communist Party China, safeguarding national long period of stability, supporting the people’s live and work inpeace, at the same time, age and occupation characteristics of young police let its ideological status show the group particularity. In the new period, they are faced with thechangeable new social environment, and respond to challenges from all sides, whichcall for them to strengthen the self construction of team. The work of Ideological andpolitical education is the lifeline of the young police work, which make them not relaxat any time, therefore, this paper focuses on the research of the new period ideological situation of young police officers, and to put forward how to further strengthen and improve ideological and political education of young police work.The paper is divided into the following several aspects:The first part mainly summarizes the young police and their ideological characteristics, including extending from the definition of youth to the definition of the young police officers, and combines the occupation of young police officers, and sums up the ideological characteristics ofyoung police based on the both aspects.The second part is about the importance of strengthen young people’s ideologicaland political education, the role and influence of young people’s ideological and political education are constantly reflected with the national development and social progress and continue, this part summarizes the importance of Ideological and political education to young people in three progressive aspects from the influence on the young police’s own on "three points" to improvement on the public security team management level and the influence on the overall situation of national security.The third part sums up the ideological situation of young people. Take the youngpeople in Henan Province as an example. Through issuing500questionnaires, the current ideas of young police in the positive side and negative side are summarized.The fourth part makes an analysis of the subjective and objective reasons of the ideological problems existing in young people, and promotes the people’s Police Ideological and political education work to a new level.The fifth sector aims at the problems existing in the thought of young people, from three aspects,taking attention on thought, improving the education mechanism, broadening ways of education,thereby putting forward reasonable countermeasures to strengthen the ideological education of young people.
