Abstract/Summary:
The focal point of this thesis is to explore the political ideology of Japanese young adults and to what degree, if any, it is different from conventional Japanese ideology. The thesis is based on a quantitative questionnaire distributed between July 1994 and July 1995 in Tokyo, Japan, on personal interviews, and on related literature. The findings show that the survey group's social and political ideology is different in some areas from previous reported attitudes.
