Research On Political Participation About The New Social Strata Of Harbin From United Front Work Perspective

With the reform and opening up and economic and social development, thenew social strata become a member of united front as the builders of socia lismwith Chinese characteristics. Economic aggregate produced and managed by newsocial strata is already more than half of GDP in Harbin. The economic basedetermined the superstructure. The new social strata urgently need to expresstheir interests and political will by efficient manner. The work of united front fornew social strata is still at the starting stage, especially facing serious andcomplicated social problem, so united front need to get a large number ofinformation of new social strata by kinds of way. Now we are still in theexploratory stage, and there is not enough experience that we can learn.Therefore, this paper researches the influential factor of political participationfor new social strata and gives proposals by work of united front.Firstly, this paper elaborates the theory and method for politicalparticipation of new social strata. Secondly, the paper describes politicalorientation and political demands of new social strata by social investigationquestionnaire and find out problem in organization, channel, policy, and so on.Finally, for the problems and causes, the suggestion and strategy for strengthenthe organization and management of construction, widening participationchannels, improve the service system is presented in this article by established"four system platform".
