Research On Development Of Harmonious Society Of WA

Since the report of the16th Party Congress put forward a "harmonious society"concept, the concept has become an important part to improve governing capacity for theparty, and also become a guidance goal of the whole social development.In order to clarify characteristics and content of a harmonious society, this paper firstsummarizes the northern Europe, Singapore, the United States and other foreign typicalcases, and compares the approaches among Suzhou, Xiamen and other cities in building aharmonious society. Second, in order to learn more about the present situation of building aharmonious society of WA and to evaluate, we spend two months to conduct a discussionand questionnaire survey and believe that WA lives in the forefront in11counties inLangfang City in building a harmonious society, which mainly embodied in five aspects:sustained and healthy economic development consolidating the material foundation for aharmonious society; democracy and the rule of law of social governance providingeffective means for a harmonious society; social stability and order creating a harmoniousatmosphere for a harmonious society; social progress and happiness realizing the final goalfor a harmonious society; ecological and environmental protection guaranteeing continuouspower for a harmonious society. However, from a historical point and internationalperspective, WA harmonious society still has a long way to go. From the economicharmony, social harmony, environmental harmony three aspects, this article makes an indexcomparison between WA and better and more typical countries and regions at home andabroad. The results show that WA has a large gap with the cities at home and abroad inbuilding a harmonious society. Third, on how to promote harmonious social construction ofWA, this paper presents a target location and development phases and think the harmonioussociety of WA should be divided into "two-step", each stage for the corresponding keytasks. Finally, under the status quo of WA and the country is in a critical period of buildinga moderately prosperous society, this article puts forward corresponding countermeasuresand suggestions for WA to push forward harmonious society better and faster developmentin the future.
