In the first part of the paper, some relevant theories of real estate investment and economic growth are reviewed and discussed, and then their dialectical relation is analyzed, in the end of this part, the importance and necessary of the two objects' harmonious development is discussed. In the second part, author analyzes the general situation of current urban real estate investment in China, then, some significant characters which are resulted by the inharmonic development of the real estate investment and economy development are analyzed deeply. In the third part of the paper, some key negative impacts are analyzed deeply, which are resulted by the inharmonic development between urban real estate investment and economic growth in current China. In the end, three layers' countermeasures and advices are brought to operators of cities, which are thinking layer, operation layer and development view. The purposes of the three layers' advices are, building up right view about real estate investment and economic growth, settling the problem of inharmonious development between urban real estate investment and economic growth, advancing the urban competitiveness, constructing harmonious city.
