The Problems In The Development Of SCO And Countermeasure Research Of Our Country

The Shanghai Cooperration Organization(SCO) was found in2001,includingsix members: China,Russia,Kazakhastan,Kyrgystan,Tajikistan,and five observercountries:Mongolin,India, Pakistan,Afghanistan,Iran,and three dialogue parters:Sri Lanka,Tuykey,Belarus.Developed all round and deep level work tostrengthen our mutual political-trust by the basis of equality,since the foundationof the SCO.The foundation of the SCO accord with the features of times andthe need of international situation development,and the national interests of eachmember,and maintain the peace and stability of central Asia effectively.In2012,the12thSCO summit is held in BeiJing,this year is the11thanniversary ofthe foundation of the SCO,is also the beginning of the new decadedevelopment,the SCO’S development will enter a new stage.In this elevenyears,the SCO mechanism construction is more perfect,cooperation betweenmembers is increasingly close,cooperation areas deepen gradually,coveringpolitical,military,economic,technological,culture and other fields.As theorganization’s development and grandness, influence is more and more on theinternational community, and gradually grow up to be a staunch force inmaintaining regional peace.At the same time,the development of the SCO is notplain sailing,there are many difficult problems in the organization, and facingvarious risks and challenges in the outside.Coordinating conflicts of interest andcontradiction between the members and dealing with outside pressure properlyhas a great influence to the organization health and sustainable development infuture.This article tries to discuss the SCO from four parts, the development ofthe SCO,major achievements,internal problems and external challenges,ourcountry’s strategy choice.The introduction part elaborated the significance of theselected topic,the basis of topic,research status at home and abroad, theresearch goal of the article,research methods,the key problems to be solvedand the innovation points,etc.The second part expounds the emergence,development of the SCO and significant accomplishment in theprocess of the development.And detailed discusses internal problems andexternal challenges in the development,then putting forward a series ofcountermeasures and suggestions according to the issues in the SCO’sdevelopment,strengthen internal unity and cohesion,playing the leading role ofChina and Russian,strengthening the organization constraction of softpower.Finally putting forward the idea about the future development of theSCO.
