The Changes Of The Manchu Culture In He Village Of Jilin Province

Herr Suen in Meng Jia ling town of Lishu county in Jilin province is a Mixed residential village with Manchus and Han ethnic groups.Based on the investigation,great changes of Manchu culture in this village have taken place,such as costume,diet,etiquette and lunar time customs,etc.The cause of these changes mainly have two aspects.On the one hand,the fusion and change of Manchu culture happened in the process of interactions with the Han national culture.With the development of Chinese social economy,the progress of science and technology,the convenient modern transportation and the highly developed media technology,many other barriers which stop the crowd flowing and information spreading have been broken.And then a lot of foreign forces continuously pour into this village,this has accelerated the pace of the development of Manchu culture.But this affects people’s daily life and even causes part of the Manchu culture gradually fading out.Another reason is from the adjustment and integration of Manchu culture,including ethnic self-awareness of strengthening recovery and identity.This force is driven to the completion of the self adjustment and changes of the Manchu culture.
