In recent years, with rapid development of international trade based on the environmental deterioration in the global situation, environmental problem is given more international attention. Being based on the economic gap between developed and developing countries, the latter in international trade makes the exports of developing countries suffered the blow as a result of the western developed countries strict environmental standards, which is a new type of trade protection measures- green trade barriers.Since 2001, after China’s entry to the WTO, many areas of China were hit hard by the impact of green trade barriers, especially in the clothing textiles, agricultural products, food and other fields, the main countries with strict measures are the EU, Japan and the United States. For decades, our country has changed in this aspect we thought with the significant development of China. But it turns out that our environment trade caused serious damages because of the backward system of environmental protection and the status quos of the laws and regulations. So, reasonable analysis and comprehensive study of green trade barriers are very necessary, and it is particularly important to establish a perfect comprehensive system fit for the situation of our country green barriers to trade to develop national economy.This article is divided into five chapters: choosing latest cases from clothing textiles, agricultural products, food areas and carrying on the analysis, then lead to the concept of green trade barriers, and the causes of China suffered from green trade barriers. On the basis of analyzing the international and domestic legal basis, aiming at the current situation and trend of green trade barriers, using the case analysis, empirical analysis and numerical reasoning method respectively to conduct a comprehensive and detailed analysis, finally to put forward the early warning mechanism of state and government on how to deal with.
