Research On The Issue Of Local Government Cooperation In Regional Public Goods Supply

Currently,Regional economic integration and economic globalization have side by side to become the two largest trend of economic and social development,No matter the city cluster development or development of regional industrial agglomeration or other forms of regional economic integration,all because of its agglomeration effect,complementary effect and the effect of scale economy,the regional economic integration is developing constantly.But at the same time, a large number of regional public problems also emerged, the foundation and the key to solve those public problems is the effective supply of regional public goods,However, the current supply of public goods has such a problem that both insufficient supply and excess supply coexist.Through analysis,this paper thinks that this dilemma is caused by the contradiction of the “closed” of the administrative region economy and the “spillover” of the regional public goods benefit,Combined with the current reality of our country, a feasible method to break the contradictions caused by the dilemma is the local governments cooperate with each other to supply regional public goods.this paper, by means of theoretical analysis and model analysis of multiple perspectives.elaborates on the importance and necessity of local government cooperation,Furthermore, problems and reasons of the local government cooperation have been analyzed and at last coming up with the related countermeasure.This paper is divided into seven chapters.The first chapter is the introduction part mainly introduces the research background of regional public goods supply as well as the domestic and foreign related research summary :The second chapter introduces the concept of regional public goods and local government cooperation with elaborating the classification and supply mode of regional public goods.The third chapter analyzes both the difficulties and the influence about the current regional public goods supply and which causes them.The four chapter compares different supply modes of regional public goods and comes up with a conclusion that the local government is the main force of supplying,The fifth chapter further focuses on the analysis of the cooperation of local governments. including its achievement,problems and reasons related to them.The sixth chapter from the three dimensions of consciousness, system, mechanism and puts forward countermeasures to improve the local government cooperation, in order to realize the regional public goods supply of local government cooperation.The last chapter simply summarizes and reflection.
