Research Of The Social Work For Remained Elderly Care In Rural Based On L Village In Linyi, Shandong Province

Our rural left-behind elderly emerged under the dual role of the aging population and the social transformation.In order to subsistence,the younger generation of rural people come out of the village,flow to the urban areas,and this migration make a huge differentiation in our society classes,and the city become to the surplus rural labor input ground.meanwhile,due to the output of the young,the elderly,women and children in rural areas become a crowd left behind.Now,along with the core rural households migrated,the family in rural areas change into a hollow shape.weakening of family pension function,there has been a huge difficulties to break through that who cared the aging parents’ endowment?especially for the economic support,life care psychological comfort,which are the main aspects for the elderly.From the perspective of social work,this paper focus on the plight of the elderly endowment in rural villages L Linyi City of Shandong Province,and analyze their situation of life,attempt to use professional social work methods to intervene their life,finally work out their problems.This research approach use the deep interviews,found that the main difficulties faced by the elderly is the lack of supply on the economy,the lack of life care and the lack of spiritual solace.The main reason caused these problems arise for the elderly left behind are far away from the adequate social support system,the traditional of filial piety decline,and their children awareness of support their parents become weak,the policies and institutional mechanisms of government pension are not complete,so it is difficult for the elderly get rid of the vulnerable groups.The imperfect of social organization,the lower community standards on caring for the elderly,cannot afford to meet the rural demand.Social work have a unique advantage in helping rural elderly.First of all,it can maximize the integration of rural resources into docking,based on the uphold of the self-reliance,and through the three professional methods to respond to the different needs of the elderly flexible.This paper studies the rural life caring for the elderly left-behind to make recommendations by professional social workers,and try to intervene to set up a diverse disadvantaged social support system, in order to cope with the growing population of rural left-behind, pension demand increasingly urgent situation, but also to ensure old man in rural areas to be with a positive attitude to old age endowment.
