The Tea Party Movement And Its Influence On American Politics

Firing on the financial plans of the Obama administration in news reports, Rick Santelli called for the establishment of the tea party. The Tea Party Movement kicked off overnight in the United States, and the burst of the movement had a tight relationship with American media coverage and publicity. The rise of the Tea Party and the Tea Party Movement carried out in full swing in the United States, especially the Tea Party victory challenged the American traditional political pattern in the 2010 mid-term elections, which made the Tea Party and the Tea Party Movement get lots of attention from all aspects in the society. Following the development of the tea party, this article aimed at analyzing the influence of the tea party on American politics.From the aspect of studying on the origin of the Tea Party, this article described the background of the rise of the Tea Party Movement and its three principles. Next, the author discussed about the format of Tea Party Movement and its characters of each organization. Later, the article reviewed the three ideas of the rise of the Tea Party Movement, which rooted with the beginning of USA. With the characteristics of Tea Party members, the author concluded and analyzed the nature of grass roots, the loose organizations, and the sprit of independent in Tea Party Movement. The article introduced the impact of Tea Party Movement on America society from the aspects of social media and 2010 mid-term elections. Moreover, the legality, racialism and relationship with Republic Party are the three arguments about Tea Party Movement, which are discussed in this article through comparing with different opinions. Furthermore, the big business, right wings of religion, and women play essential roles in supporting the Tea Party Movement. Last, the author compared many results of different scholars’ research and predicted the future of Tea Party Movement.
