Public supervision is an important part of China’s supervision system, the pubilc is an important subject in the anti-corruption. Xi Jinping, The General Secretary in Chinese eighteenth CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the fifth plenary meeting clearly pointed out, with the concerted efforts of all the party and the support of the people, we will be able to win the anti-corruption struggle in this battle, a protracted war. Wang qishan, the secretary of the central commission for discipline inspection, repeatedly stressed that promoting the anti-corruption and construction of a clean government should rely on the people’s participation and strong support, making the public supervision be everywhere. At present, the public participation plays an important role in the anti-corruption, but there are also many problems and shortcomings. Under the new situation, it will be of great significance to promote the development of anti-corruption in our country that further expanding the orderly participation of citizen, promoting the organic combination of the government’s anti-corruption campaign from top to bottom and the bottom-up public participation in anti-corruption and gathering continuously the strong resultant force of anti-corruption.This thesis includes five chapters. The first chapter mainly starts with the basic concept. It defines public participation and clarifies the relation and distinction between public participation on and other concepts. On the basis of concept, this chapter tries to generalize summarize the scientific connotation of the public participation in the anti-corruption, then summarize the theoretical basis of it. The second chapter reviews the development process of the public participation in the anti-corruption in our country from the practical level, and then summarizes the significance and era value of continuously expanding orderly public participation in the anti-corruption. The third chapter begins with the current situation of the public participation in the anti-corruption. It emphatically analyzes the new characteristics, classification of group and the motive of the public participation in anti-corruption. The fourth chapter analyzes the practical difficulties and limiting factors of further expanding public participation in the anti-corruption in detail. The fifth chapter puts forward some rationalization proposals for the further expansion of orderly public participation in the anti-corruption from the viewpoint of political relations, social mentality, and the institutionalization of public participation, which demonstrates the research purpose and the value of this selected topic.The anti-corruption is a long-term, systematic huge project. The successful development and effective cooperation of each subsystem are the necessary conditions to build this edifice. Expanding orderly public participation and strengthening social supervision are one of important subsystems of the total system. I hope this research can provide some useful reference in pushing forward the orderly participation of citizens and promoting the anti-corruption development in China.
