According to People’s Republic of China Water Law and other relevant laws and regulations, combined with the actual situation in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of the Eleventh People’s Congress Standing Committee on December 2, 2010 19th meeting, through the Drinking Water Supply Regulations in Rural and Pastoral Areas of Inner Mongolia (hereinafter referred to as the Regulations), effective from January 1,2011. Promulgated the Regulations the implementation of more than three years, for the rational development, utilization and protection of water resources, prevention of non-compliance of water quality, give full play to the comprehensive benefits of drinking water supply, strengthen the drinking water supply management in rural and pastoral areas, ensuring safe drinking water in rural and pastoral areas, maintaining water the legitimate interests of water users and water supply units, and promote economic and social development in rural and pastoral plays a major role.In this paper, based on field research assessment, more comprehensive grasp of the promulgation of the Regulations the implementation of three years, fully understand the drinking water supply in rural area pastoral competence and effectiveness, to modify and improve the Regulations put forward their views and suggestions.
