College students are the hope of the motherland. The levels of the college students’ ideological and moral qualities influence the development of the motherland in the future. Ideological and political education can influence the college students’ ideological and moral qualities directly. So ideological and political education plays an important role in improving the college students’ ideological and moral qualities. In recent years, the ideological and political education has achieved a certain effect, but it also has many problems. For example, the content of teaching materialsis duplicated and boring, The public organizations are subject to many restrictions, such as the capital, the experience or the head, so the form and the effect of activitiesorganized by them are not optimistic. College students’ loss is greater than the income in their summer and winter social practices, because of the insufficient attention from universities and students. The cognitive of college students is based on incomplete or false information because of the explosion and fragmentation of information. This is bad for the ideological development of the college students.With the transform of society and the change of people’s life style, non-profit organizations are developing rapidly. They play an important role during the period of social transformation. The non-profit organizations are various, and all kinds of public welfare activities are held in their regions. People participate in the non-profit organizations in all kinds of ways. Some people join in the non-profit organizations independently and become one of the full-time staff or volunteers. Some people concern the public projects which they are interested and they are glad to attend the activities in their spare time. Some people attend a public exhibition accidentally in some place or at some time. One way or another, the non-profit organizations appear in various places or at any time. By taking part in the public welfare activities, university students’ consciousness of responsibility, dedication are strengthened gradually, university students deepen the understanding of social reality. The non-profit organizations play a role in the ideological and political education imperceptibly in practical, theoretical, etc. The projects, public welfare activities of the non-profit organization have become new carriers, which can impact the cognitive of college students about the social reality or the surrounding environment, which can improve the sense of responsibility and dedication of college students.Non-profit organizations play an active role in the ideological and political education of colleges and universities. But the role would be weakened because of the subjective and objective constraints. For example, the development of non-profit organizations is not mature enough, the homogeneity phenomenon of activities organized by non-profit organization in the same area is prominent, legal system is imperfect, some laws and regulations have not comply with the present situation of the non-profit organizations because of their rapid development. Registration is still difficult to non-profit organizations. The social public doubt and distrust the non-profit organizations. The college students are not stable, and they have high liquidity.After analyzing various factors which limit the development of non-profit organization, this paper has proposed the corresponding countermeasure. In the subjective aspect, the non-profit organizations need to develop themselves. In the Objective aspect, the government should improve the relevant policies, laws and regulations, achieve decentralization further; the colleges and the universities should explore new cooperation way, improve the course system, change ideas. In the media aspect, strengthening the publicity and spreading good atmosphere are essential.
