| With the accelerating of urbanization,the relocation communities of landless farmers are emerging.Compared with rural communities and urban communities, it is more differenttogovernlandless farmers’ relocated communities in many aspects, such as the governance body, governance support and the cultural environment. And there are other issuessuch as organizational system disorders, public participation shortage and lack of social capital.To strengthen the study of landless farmers’ relocated community governance has very important theoretical and practical significance in creating a harmonious and stable social environment and promoting all-roundand healthy development of the economy and society.First, this paper has a review on the status of domestic and foreign research on community governance issues. Secondly, with the case study of the Tongan town of Suzhou High-tech Zone and the fourth community of Huatong Garden, which is under the jurisdiction of Tongan town, this paper analyses the difference among the landless farmers’ relocation communities, rural communities and urban communities. Thirdly,this paperanalysestheshortcomings of the current governance of landless farmers’ relocated communities in Suzhou High-tech Zone. At last, for these practical issues, this paper also gives some suggestions on how tofurther improve community governance,including building the governing mechanisms of landless farmers’ relocated communities, rationalizing the organizational system of governance, nurturing the civic spirit of the residents in landless farmers’ relocated communities to promote the public participation,further enriching social capital and resources to landless farmers’ relocated communities, and laying a solid foundation of community autonomy.Only in this way,can we make the residents in landless farmers’ relocated communities to share the fruits of the development and constructionof Reform and Opening up, and lay a solid foundation for building a harmonious socialist society. |
