Filial piety is the traditional virtue of Chinese nation,people have always admired and valued.Filial piety education is an important practice way,in traditional society it played a major role in improving people’s moral accomplishment,harmonizing family ethics relationship,maintaining the feudal rule and so on.But,filial piety education has some unreasonable,as it has the distinctive class nature of the feudal rule in maintenance, has certain feudal obscurantism sex education content and so on. in spite of this,filial piety education still has important use value in today.We should have dialectical treatment of filial piety education,we should discard the dross,the feudal contents and inherit the excellent ingredients reasonably and effectively, meanwhile transform its content, form and position reasonable to make it both have fine tradition and distinctive characteristics of the times,enable give full play to the value in improving people’s moral standards and maintaining social harmony family contemporary and so on.This thesis consists of five parts: the introduction includes the purpose of the study, research significance, summary,methods and innovation.The introduction part mainly discusses the purpose of this study, the research significance, research status at home and abroad,research methods and innovation, etc. The first part briefly discusses the basic connotation of filial piety education.Mainly expounds the meaning of the filial piety and filial piety education,the basic content of the traditional filial piety education, namely, including the worship education of parents, the monarch of filial piety education and about other people’s extensive filial piety education this main content of the three aspects, and also discusses the traditional filial piety education has the main function of standardize family ethics relationship,maintenance class rule. The second part mainly discusses the necessity transformation to contemporary of he traditional filial piety education.Including traditional education has historical limitations,such as goal directed, feudal folly, formal grading,as well as the traditional filial piety education should make transformation according to the change of the social system,the effects of family factors and the requirements of the Times spirit.The third part mainly discusses the road to contemporary transformation of traditional filial piety education.Namely,giving the traditional filial piety education new epoch connotation on the basis of inheriting the outstanding virtue of traditional filial piety education,and transform its form of implementation.The fourth part mainly discusses the contemporary value of the filial piety education.Namely filial piety education has important value in cultivating people’s gratitude consciousness, strengthening the sense of responsibility, realizing the old be raised, the construction of a harmonious society.
