The meeting culture in the political perspective is not only a kind of cultural phenomenon, but also a political phenomenon. Under the background of globalization, competition and cooperation is becoming more and more frequent among different countries and regions, and political meeting increasingly becoming the basic carrier of exchanges, cooperation and reaching a consensus also become the important means of resolving conflicts and disputes. As a post-developmental modern country in a transitional period of economic and social transformation, the development of political meeting culture since the Founding of New China should be studied from the higher perspective. For the current phenomenon of "excess meeting", I hold that the meeting should be planned ahead of time scientifically and fully prepared with sufficient investigation.
