As the more international affairs China has taken part in, the stronger needs of a good national image of China has put forward. Chinese media is not only an open window of China’s external exchange, but also an important approach for China to shape a better international image and to explain itself to the world. In recent years, Chinese media has developed rapidly. Reports in international events have changed too much. The number of reports becomes more from nothing; the ability of reports has become stronger gradually; the system of worldwide live has been formed; the capacities of reports has been improved, as well as the strength, the width or the depth. However, compared with some famous western media groups, it fall far behind. It lacks of enough ability to set the agenda of the international opinion, the same as the depth of excavation in the reports; and the ability of news-gathering and manufacturing in the important international events needs to be further improved. All that makes China have difficulties in guiding international opinion. To solve them:firstly, much work should be done to enhance media and government interact, including that the government gives suitable support to the media and establishes some news media group, shaping the good international image by the media; secondly, the ability of news-manufacturing in in the important international events should be improved, having Chinese own media products which have great influence and communication’s power; thirdly, the integral report framework of China should be established consciously, developing Chinese own language system representing Chinese image and maintaining the national interest, which enhances Chinese soft power and strengthens Chinese international language power.
