Research On The News Reporting Of Group Events In New Century

Through Group Events, we can get a glimpse of the social contradictions of contemporary Chinese society and the structural defect of the Chinese System. In the Past, the Media couldn't report the Group Events freely. With the rise of the Internet, Group Events gradually show the society its positive side. In addition, the policy environment has been gradually relaxed ample opportunities for the Media. Therefore, how to report the Group Events accurately and effectively has become the Media's present new challenge.This paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, which briefly introduces the background and significance of the research, and makes necessary review of current Study and Analysis about the coverage of Group EventsThe second and third chapters mainly introduce Group Events and its social background. At this stage, Group Events happen frequently. For the news value and related issues of Group Events, the Media must and should report the events in detail and promptly. In order to strategically report Group Events, the Media should have a proper understanding of the events, such as the nature of different events, the basic incentives of the events, the characteristics of its spread, and so on. Only the Media know Group Events well, can they make accurate and responsible reporting.The fourth chapter describes the triple role of the Media during the reporting of Group Events, also analyses confusions about the conflicts between social justice and administrative power, supervision by public opinion and judicial independence.Chapters five and six are the most important parts of this article. The fifth chapter provides a detailed analysis of these problems and deficiencies. The sixth chapter is about the reflection from the confusions and the problems and deficiencies. It also proposes some solution, attempting to sum up and find out the reporting strategies and skills that in common.
