Party members are cells of the party, and the development of Party members is directly related to the fighting capacity of the party and its cause. The development status of Party members is both the results of party’s basic lines, guiding principle, and policy in different historical periods, but also with the environment at the time of the party, the tasks of the Party, the status of party members closely linked.During the period of the party’s foundation and Revolution, the party Constitution and party platform gradually improve the provisions of the procedures and conditions of joining the party. While simplifying the workers’procedures of joining the party, the candidate of the other ingredients requiring longer waiting period and more complex approval process, there is no such as later period of land revolution war against the other component of Party members. It achieves the sensitive balance of class nature and masses of class. The development of the party organization has experienced the transformation from the majority of intellectuals to the majority of workers. Realize the type of political transition from intellectuals to the masses based political parties. In this process, the educated youth in the Chinese communist party actually played the role of a leader, organizer and initiator. The number of members from more than 50 when it was in 1921 to more than 50000 in 1927, it shows the Communist Party of China’s strong vitality.During the period of the land revolution war, the development of Party members shows the complex situation of right and wrong intertwined. The error is mainly manifested as too much emphasis on the development of workers’party, which fall into the component theory. Although falling into the component theory, brought negative consequences to the development of Party organizations, there are some correct exploration, laid the foundation for the party corrects the misunderstanding of the component. Through the investigation of Hubei rural Party organizations, we can find the farmer is not accepting the Communist Party of China from the start standing in the same camp, but they went through a process. The vast rural areas bring convenience to the development of the party organization, at the same time it also brings challenges. The number of Party members went through a blind expansion to steady growth. At last it experienced a sharp drop.During the period of the Anti-Japanese War, the party organization to some extent changed the practice of closed-doorism of the Agrarian Revolutionary War, and a large number of classes of excellent member are absorbed to join the party. Since the Communist Party of China’s political views represent the overwhelming majority of the Chinese people’s wishes, it wins people’s beliefs, which laid the foundation of the party organizations’quickly development. The number of members from more than 40000 at the early stage of the Anti-Japanese War to 1.2 million people at the end of the war, it shows the Communist Party of China has become a big party. But at the same time, a large number of the party’s sympathizers join the party, many landlord, prosperous peasants and businessmen also took the opportunity to sneak into the Party. These undermine the nature of the proletarian political party and bring new test on the purity of the party organization.During the period of the liberation war, the procedures of joining the party have become very mature. The new regulation is about the revolutionary soldier staff to join the party, reflecting the fact that the war environment needs large numbers of people to join the army and the requirement of a large number of people to manage the new regime. Those regulations objectively give the landlord, prosperous peasants and upper intellectuals a chance to join the party. By the end of the war, the number of party members has reached 4.48 million, guarantee for the victory of the war, ensuring the victory of the war.In a word, the develop of the party organization has experienced a historical process from small to big, from weak to strong.
