Model is the people’s socialist countries, granted a noble title of advanced characters in production and construction of the civilians, is the example, is the outstanding figures in the productive process in all walks of life to emerge out of the. Model selection is divided into two stages:one is the specific provisions of the selection stage, to labor competition; another is the principle system of stage, is the selection standard promulgated in 1989 after the establishment of model workers, model selection recognition system.Since 1950, the Party Central Committee, the State Council has held 12 times the mass of the commendation meeting, a total of 28247 selected national model workers. In 80 years of model selection Chinese history, the emergence of many civilian examples, they are distributed all over the country’s first production line, on the economic, political, cultural, China society has made an outstanding contribution, played a leading role. But in the new era background, model worker of violation of law, the difficulties of life and other issues has brought new challenges to the management of model workers. And because of the composition, structure, model selection of mechanism has changed, and the change of government management, model management mechanism reform has been imminent. This paper chooses Suzhou city as a case study, the management of model workers in Suzhou city to carry on the practice analysis, deep analysis on the model of Suzhou management innovation and deficiencies, and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions of management innovation model workers, model workers and management to make really come to the benign development of the road.
