With the increasingly serious problem of aging, pension issues of the elderly is gradually becoming the focus of attention, the pension model is also increasingly diverse. Among these, "accompany old age" has become a new model for home care of the elderly."Accompany old age" refers to both the aged men and women without a spouse and without marriage registration live together to achieve old age of a quasi-marriage patterns and retirement patterns of mutual care and support. The new pension model exists more widely in rural areas, the paper takes the village of Wulannao in the ancient town of Hongqinghe County as the case, mainly based on combination of field investigations and casework,to make description and analysis of the optional causes and current situation of "accompany old age " at the village of Wulannao, then take successful intervention in the two typical cases.The main contents of this paper: The first chapter of the survey gives a brief introduction about life information, population structure, marital status of older women at the village of Wulannao; the second chapter analyzes four optional reasons of "Accompany old age" from the community, children,self, property. Then makes a deep analysis of the advantages and the disadvantages of elderly women choose "accompany old age"; the thirdchapter takes effective intervention to two elder women based on the "Accompany old age" issues. The successful intervention, not only help us get a more deeper understanding of rural elderly women "accompany old age" phenomenon, but also help us to solve the difficulties and problems they faced.The main points of the author: First, the "accompany old age" phenomenon of rural elder women has its rationality. Some of elder women give up remarriage because of social, self, property, children and other reasons to choose "accompany old age", it is a strategic choice in order to avoid contradictions, we cannot make simple moral judgments. Secondly,although the "accompany old age" avoided some trouble and distress of elderly remarriage might encounter, the rural elderly women in "accompany old age" may caused some disadvantages such as property, long life security and other damages to the interests of the state lack of appropriate legal protection and other reasons. Finally, whether the "accompany old age" is beneficial for the elder women or not, we still have a long way to go. The whole society should take an objective look about the "accompany old age" phenomenon, support and help for the elder to choose the right way of life,through the improvement of relevant systems and a wide range of guidance,elder people could enjoy a happier and peaceful old life, especially to enhance elder women legal awareness, improve the ability of safeguarding their rights.
