The "Representation" concept is almost an ubiquitous word, which is embedded in everyone’s life. But precisely for this reason, its connotation is rarely be paid enough attention to. In Chinese context, the "Representation" concept was introduced from Japan in the late19th century, and its truly source is European’s representative theory. After it was introduced into China,"Representation" had gone through a prompt transition both in its usage and connotation. Especially for the Communist Party of China (CPC), who believes in Marxism, its "Representation" concept is an entirely different thing from the western representative theory. As a proletarian party, the CPC holds a special "Party-Representing" theory, it sees itself as the most advanced power. According to its theory, people can only cast off all kinds of fetters under the leadership of the party’s Cacique and its common members, and enter into the ideal classless Communism Society. During the process of realizing this beautiful dream, namely during the proletarian revolution, the CPC’s "Representation" discourse was tied up with "United Front" policy through the "Class" discourse. The implement of "United Front" strategy largely expanded the strength of the CPC, and with its help, the CPC won the victory eventually. Meanwhile, in order to go with the stream of democracy and to maintain its legitimacy, the CPC drew on the experiences of the western representative system to organize the organs of political power it possessed, which conform to a representative theory out of election. During the revolution, the prototype of the forms of the organs of political power which was established by the CPC is the "People’s Representative" theory of Marxism or the Soviet system of Soviet Russia. The external form of the organs of political power was transformed for several times, but the core rules were kept steady, and they finally became the kernel of the system of People’s Congress, which was established by the CPC after it has gained the national power. The CPC’s "Party-Representing" theory was obviously in a prior position against the representative theory out of election, which lasts to nowadays and becomes a main feature of the running procedure of contemporary China’s politics.
