Research On The Development Of Old-age Service Industry In Our Country

With the advent of an aging society, facing the rapid trend of ageing and complexageing situation, The communist party of China and the government put providing forthe elderly as a national strategic goals. Through exploration, the governmentproposed the priority to the development of old-age service furtherly to take care ofelderly people in later life, but the government ability is limited, it can’t meet theincreasing old-age service demand. In order to increasing the service supply,encouraging social participation, forming diverse investment and supply mechanism,advancing development of old-age service industry is an important choice. But therewere some problems and certain difficulties during old-age service industrydevelopment process, need to be solved. Therefore, based on the current situation ofthe industry, finding effective path of old-age service industry development andexploring suitable mode of industry development were mainly work of this paper.Firstly, this paper defined the concept of old-age service and old-age serviceindustry, and pinpointed service contents, service object, level and character ofold-age service, and analysed the present situation of old-age service and the industryto find existing problems during the industry development process. Low level ofold-age service industry, small scale of the industry, low returns of the industry,imbalance of industrial structure and anomie of industrial order are the main problem.In order to solve the above problems, this paper set goals of the old-age serviceindustry based on practical situation, and analysed the connotation of old-age service industry development and the old-age service industry chain and its evolution startingfrom the basic theory of industry development. Then, this paper studied the factorswhich influence the development of old-age service industry from the angle of thecost and benefit, and put forward the path of developing old-age service industrythrough learning the experience of old-age service industry development at home andabroad.Afterwards, along the path of developing the industry, this article explored thedevelopment pattern of old-age service industry that take the combination of medicalservice and old-age service as the core. And the paper defined combination of medicalservice and old-age service as the basis of pension service industry developmentfurtherly, then analysed the connotation of combination of medical service andold-age service. On this basis, the paper divided the level of old-age service, andexplored the operation pattern of combination of medical service and old-age serviceas the core of pension service industry development from industry interestsmechanism dimension, the industrial organization form dimension, industrymanagement dimension, the government supervision and management dimension,then put forward some management countermeasures for the providers of old-ageservice.Finally, this paper studied the composition and internal and external relations ofold-age service industry development support system, and analyzed the deficiency ofthe existing system, then put forward some suggestions of improving old-age serviceindustry development support system.
