Empirical Study Of Supply And Demand Status On Endowment Service Of University Community In Beijing

The aging population is one of the trend of the development of the world’s population today, ranking as the world’s top ten long-term risk of the human society. Due to the family planning police and economic development in China, the aging population becomes increasingly serious. Beijing is one of the earlist cities that enter the aging population. The sixth national population census data shows that about2.46million people aged60and above, who account for12.5%of the population of permanent residents. Though the percentage doesn’t increase distinctly, but the amount of population increases759000. The serious problem of the aging population makes the development of aging pension model becomes a new focus.With the impact of the "empty nest", the "4-2-1" family structure, the traditional way that the elders are endowed by their children is gradually weakening. Due to the problem of the "empty nest" becomes serious, the family endowment way can’t meet the needs of the elderly daily life; the institutional pension does not conform to Chinese tradition and the spirit needs of the old people, and this way is also not accepted by the aged in the city. Therefore, the community endowment, as the newer method is gradually coming to the public view. With the community gradually develops and matures, the needs and demands of community endowment are more and more. Beijing took the lead in the national promotion of the "community home endowment", has achieved a certain success so far.Geriatric sociology research shows that university community endowment service supply work, even pension security system is confronted with new challenges. The higher education causes develop as well as the university elders and the universities increase year by year in Beijing, but the university community endowment model is not perfect. It can’t adapt to their demand structure characteristics and meet the needs of their differentiation and diversification.Based on the theories of management and sociology, referring to community endowment experience in developed countries such as Britain, American and Japan, the paper researches and analyses the current condition of the university community endowment supply and demand in Beijing, and put forward the difficulties and problems of the university community endowment supply and demand system. To improve the community endowment service, the paper also proposes some countermeasures and suggestions, such as the practical implementation of the community endowment infrastructure construction, the increase of the capital investment; the training of the staff professional quality, the introduction of college students volunteer service mechanism, the establishment of the service system. We also should inherit the fine tradition of universities and build college community culture to promote the better and faster development. Finally the aim of "old support, warranty, old-aged’s providing, teaching" can be realized among the university community elderly.
