The Research On Villages And Towns Livable Community Evaluation And Application

With the advancement of urbanization, villages and towns residents’requirements for quality of life increasing, livable communities issue attracted wide spread attention. But there is still exists infrastructure lags behind, low level of economic development, cultural and educational backwardness, and low hierarchy medical care. In addition, domestic and foreign scholars’research about livability focus more on the city level, the research for villages and towns livable community is still relatively empty. Due to the difference between villages and cities, villages and towns livable community evaluation can’t completely refer to urban livable community indicators.Based on this background, the paper relies on the national "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" technology support project "villages and towns livable community and well-off residential construction evaluation system and key technology research"(project number:2013BAJ10B15). Research on Villages and Towns Livable Community evaluation and application is of great significance. The paper using SPSS statistical analysis, analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to evaluate the villages and towns Livable Community, the main contents and conclusions are as follows:(1) Construct villages and towns livable community evaluation system:The System includes the living environment, facilities, cultural atmosphere and community service four-level indicators and18secondary indicators. The paper also made application recommendations of the evaluation system.(2) Put forward villages and towns livable community evaluation system application Suggestions:in the application to ensure that the evaluation system of scientific applications, when applied should clear the objectives, determine the evaluation subject, ensure the scientific validity of the evaluation process, and improve community building based on the evaluation results,view with eyes of Development.(3) Apply evaluation system to empirical evaluation:Based on the evaluation system to evaluate on Sanshan communities, inviting experts and scholars to rate the evaluation index weights, combined with the questionnaire data, using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to measure Sanshan communities’livable level. Upon analysis of Sanshan communities, overall livable level evaluation score is3.43points, which is a good level. Facilities get3.74points which is the highest score, then is the living environment, scoring3.42points; the next is culture, scoring3.3points; community service get2.94points which is the lowest score. The evaluation results are consistent with the community reality, which explain the evaluation system is scientific and practical.
