Study On The Relationship Between The Ideological Tendency And Activism Of Homeowner

China’s economy system reform and market transition brings the differentiation of thoughts and the change of state-society relationship. Existing several ideology tendencies including political attitude, the authoritarianism and the liberalism; economic attitude, the welfarism and the new liberalism. Homeowners were regarded as a product of the market-oriented reform and a new class, so they have strong consciousness to protect their rights and interests. These activists are the representative of this group. So, why they take the actions? What patterns will they choose? Does the ideological tendencies influence the motivations and the patterns? This is the focus of this research. Through empirical research process, the results concluded that:(1) These activists were mainly driven by economic interests, rather than were led by the citizens’ rights consciousness.(2) The patterns they choose will be rational and legitimate and will not take the confrontational ways.(3) Different ideological tendencies on political and economic attitudes have no significant influence on their motivations and choices of patterns. Activists’ actions are self-interested and rational.
