Research On Contemporary China’s Diplomatic Theory In Perspective Of Thoughts Of Marx And Engels

China has made great achievements after the Chinese Communist Party applied Marxism into China’s national condition since65years ago. The diplomatic theories with Chinese characteristics which are gradually developed in the practice of reform and opening up guide China’s diplomatic practice for further development. And with the development of China’s diplomatic practice, the diplomatic theory is constantly advancing with the times that generate new ideas to help solve new problems. Marx and Engels who strove for the proletarian liberation made a profound analysis of the bourgeoisie diplomacy and elaborated a series of proletarian diplomatic thoughts which plays an important role in studying contemporary China’s diplomatic theory and offering the direction for our approach to perfect China diplomatic theories and analyze and deal with the diplomatic challenges.The purpose of this thesis is, on the basis of existing research results, to further clarify the diplomatic thoughts of Marx and Engels through interpretation of the text, and to explain that the contemporary China’s diplomatic theory has made its innovation after it inherits diplomatic thoughts of Marx and Engels. Then we will analyze the challenges that need to be dealt in diplomatic practice combining these thoughts.The introduction briefly illustrates the background and significance of the research for this topic, which is a systematical review of the research about the diplomatic thoughts of Marx and Engels as well as the research about China’s diplomatic theory both at home and abroad. In addition, relevant contents, emphases, difficulties and innovation points of the research to this thesis have been put forward.The first part mainly focuses on talking about the diplomatic thoughts of Marx and Engels. We will analyze the diplomatic practice on the basis of that Marx and Engels had put forward their diplomatic thoughts; analyze the detailed content of diplomatic thoughts of Marx and Engels——the bourgeoisie and proletariat diplomacy; then the main characteristics of diplomatic thought of Marx and Engels will be explained in this part.The second part talks about the relevant contents of China’s diplomatic theory. Three development stages of China’s diplomatic theory which based on the adjustment of diplomatic strategy will be analyzed in this part. More emphasis will be given on the content of contemporary China’s diplomatic theory——of diplomatic purpose, goals, principles, strategies and fundamental standpoints. The analysis of the characteristics of contemporary Chinese diplomacy theory is the last talk in this part.In the third part, we will analyze the relationship between contemporary China’s diplomatic theory and the diplomatic thoughts of Marx and Engels. Inherited diplomatic thoughts of Marx and Engels from principals and concrete contents, contemporary China’s diplomatic theory has made its innovation and further development. The challenges which China’s practice now confronted with will be analyzed in this part, and the solution to those challenges will also be given out.The final part is a conclusion of this thesis. A brief summary about the main views of this thesis has been made. Then stress that the China’s diplomatic theory needs to keep pace with the times and give more guidance for diplomatic practice. We will also point out the issues that need further research.
