Research On Historical Roles And Contemparory Values Of Ho Chi Minh’s Diplomatic Ideals

President Ho Chi Minh was the founding leader of the Vietnamese Communist Party, the First President of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam until his death, and also the founding leader and developer of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh’s ideals of Foreign Affairs are the integral parts of his ideals of the Vietnamese Revolution. During the Vietnamese Revolution, Ho Chi Minh’s ideals of Foreign Affairs gained great achievements such as helping to protect the Democratic Republic of Vietnam successfully and promoting Vietnam political position all over the world. As proved in history, his ideals of Foreign Affairs, diplomatic method, diplomatic style and art in public relations were the important elements which contributed to the great success of the Vietnamese Revolution.In the new social and political context, there have been a lot of changes in all political aspects in the world. Vietnam has also been changing a lot with many considerable achievements in economy, cuture and society, etc. In the same way, the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been gaining great historical achievements. However, according to Karl Max’s dialectical materialism (Marxist dialectics), conflicts of all matters lie in the ongoing process of developments and changes. Hence, the things the Vietnamese Foreign Affairs need to do are that we must understand the ongoing process of developments and changes in all aspects of the world and that we should apply Foreign Affairs methods of Maxism in all Foreign Affairs activities. That is the reason for which studying and systemizing Ho Chi Minh Ideals of Foreign Affairs thoroughly is necessary for the Vietnamese Foreign Affairs so that contemporary values for Foreign Affairs duties should be searched for immediately. The main subject study of this thesis is Ho Chi Minh Ideals of Foreign Affairs. The whole thesis consits of four parts:Part one mainly discusses the original and conceptualized context of Ho Chi Minh’s ideasl of Foreign Affairs.Part two presents three sub contents:the historical social context of conceptualizing Ho Chi Minh’s ideal of Foreign Affairs; the analyses of the Ho chi Minh’s ideals of Foreign Affairs, from which the thesis aims to investigate and prove the role of Ho Chi Minh’s ideals of Foreign Affairs in leading the Vietnamese Revolution to its final success.Part three clearly illustrates distingtive features of Ho Chi Minh’s ideals of Foreign Affairs in terms of diplomatic method, diplomatic art and style.Finally, part four aims to figure out and conclude the important roles of Ho Chi Minh’s ideals of Foreign Affairs in the history of the Vietnamese Revolution as well as to penalize Ho Chi Minh’s diplomatic ideals’s contemparory values.There are some creative features in the present thesis. Firstly, it has the new subject studies because there have not been any research carried out about Ho Chi Minh’s diplomatic ideal in Vietnam as well as in the world so far. Therefore, the researcher conducted a research named:"Historical roles and contemparory values of Ho Chi Minh’s diplomatic ideals", which aims at fulfilling the gaps in the field of studying Ho Chi Minh’s diplomatic ideals of researchers in Vietnam and in the world as well as at promoting the political position and important meanings of Ho Chi Minh in the field of diplomatics. Secondly, by analyzing the contents of Ho Chi Minh’s diplomatic ideals, the research hypothesizes to discover ideals which have the original values to current Vietnamese Foreign Affairs Duties.
