With rapid growth of Internet information technology, Internet has become anindispensable tool in people’s daily life, to wield its power at larger areas in the society.As an open platform of exchange and communication, Internet releases many anddiverse information, which has direct or indirect influence on people’s perception andcommunication, as well as profound impact on people’s values. The study will help usseize opportunities under the new situation, to break new ground for China’s socialistideology building. It also facilitates us to tackle challenges with self-possession, tomaintain the growth and the vitality of the socialist ideology in the brunt. These are ofgreat theoretical and practical significance for socialist modernization with Chinesecharacteristics and its advance with the times.The essay has three main parts: preface, body (four chapters) and conclusion.
