Comparative Study On The Theory Of Life World Of Husserl And The Ideology Of "Life World" Of Marx

Edmund Husserl(1859-1938) and Marx’s philosophy all have ideas about the lifeworld.Husserl in his later years experienced European Science, philosophy and humancrisis. Under the guidance of positivist science, science only focuses on the objectivefacts. Positivism put problems about ethics, aesthetics,and the life value andsignificance out of the field of scientific research. The practical significance of thescientific activities were buried.This caused subjective world and objective worlddivision and the lose of human nature,so he put forward the theory of life world,asked to return to the life world to overcome the European scientific crisis. Marxbased on real life of the proletariat under the capitalist system.He thinks thatpractice is the basis and the basic way of the life world.Today, the development ofscience and technology change rapidly,using science and technology caused thedestruction of the natural environment grow with each passing day, people becamemore materialistic, spiritual emptiness and lack of faith. We still have the necessity toreview of the life world theory of Husserl and the ideology of “life world” of Marx.This article can be divided into three parts to analyse and study the life worldtheory of Husserl and the ideology of “life world” of Marx. The first chapter outlinesthe life world theory of Husserl,describes it background, interpret the early and lateconnotation of life world, clear the relations of life world and the scientificworld. Husserl thinks that the origin of European crisis lie in the oblivion of lifeworld, thus returning to the life world is the fundamental way to overcome the crisisin Europe, and return to the living world should through phenomenologicalreduction way to achieve.Finally, the article expounds the theory and practicalsignificance of life world theory of Husserl.The second chapter summarizes theMarx’s ideology of “life world”.Marx’s “life world” ideology regard the reality ofpeople as the starting point and end-result, and reality, life world as the researchobject, based on the reality of practice and the basic way, he also believed that the lifeworld is a constantly generating process.Then we expound the theory and practicalsignificance of “life world” ideology of Marx.The third chapter compares the theory of life world of Husserl and the “life world” ideology of Marx. Their similarities liesin Husserl and Marx both have a sense of crisis in advance,and emphasize thegenerative characteristics of life world.They all require rejecting metaphysics andreturning to the life world.The difference is that different reasons and methods toreturn to life world and a different way to construct a life world.In a word, through the comparative study of the life world theory of Husserl and the“life world” ideology of Marx, we found that the life world theory of Husserl is atheory philosophy, it is difficult to effect in dealing with real life of people. ButMarx’s “life world” ideology is established on the basis of practice, it can providereference and guidance to solve the real life problem of people. When we compared itwith life world theory of Husserl,we can find it has some superiority.
