Technological innovation is a resource, with high investment, high risk, highreturn characteristics, and high commercial value. Especially in the era of knowledgeeconomy, technological innovation determines the level of the enterprise, as well asthe status of the country’s economic development. However, compared to itsimportance, the technological innovation itself protection is very fragile, it is veryeasy to be plagiarized or imitated, so that the technology innovators suffered hugelosses. Thus, the intellectual property protection of technological innovation are muchaccounted whether at home or outside. Technology innovation international patentprotection as the most direct protection of technological innovation, it is a top priority.With the continuous development of international trade and exchanges betweencountries continues to deepen, bilateral and multilateral patent system continues tobuild, developed countries hopes to form a world integration of an internationalpatent protection system, led by developed countries. The "European PatentConvention","Eurasian Patent Convention","Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement"(TPP) in suggests that the basic form of the international protection of the patentsystem, while TRIPs and PLT accelerated the emergence of integrated process.However, for developing countries, the patent protection of technological innovationis still in its infancy, lack of power, the rule is not perfect, the situation of low socialstatus restricts the development of technological innovation patent protection.Nevertheless, driven by the desire for the interests, developing countries make theirown voice in the international protection of technological innovation patentintegration process. While the developing world search for the developing oftechnical innovation patent protection, the developed countries began to implementhigher standards of international patent protection system at the same time. It is adilemma for developing countries to find how to seek for the interests balancebetween developing countries and developed countries in the integration oftechnological innovation patent protection process. As developing nations of China, how to seek the development direction of the international protection of the patenttechnology innovation from the American experience is worth exploring.Through historical research, comparative studies methods to analyze thedevelopment of the technological innovation international patent protection, thecurrent plight, the status quo of developed country and proposed the countermeasuresfor the integration of the international patent system in the era of knowledge economy.In this paper, began with the basic problem definition of technological innovation,technological innovation process patent protection, through describe two carriers ofthe technical innovation and technical innovation process, discussing technologicalinnovation and the relationship between patent protection, indicating that patentprotection for technological innovation importance. Following the introduction oftechnological innovation development and current situation of international patentprotection system, through the analysis of status quo point out the contradictoryissues of The international protection of the patent technology innovation regime.Then as a example of United States, find a way to reference form analyzing from twoaspects of domestic and international institutional system. Summary of internationalpatent protection in the process of technology innovation and counter direction, at thesame time, combined with the technology innovation patent protection experience,put forward the technological innovation in our country in the future the developmentdirection of international patent protection.
