In recent years, with the development of China’s economy and the city to accelerate the process, the new generation of the white-collar immigrant have become the mainstream of Chinese immigrants in the population,and the number will be more and more. The current study, scholars generally concern is the social identity of domestic blue collar immigrants, little research on the domestic white-collar immigrant groups.In this paper, in order to work in the city of Lhasa, in the Tibet autonomous region of Cenozoic white-collar immigrants as the research object, using the method of participant observation,depth interviews to collect first-hand information,the use of relevant theories of social identity, Investigation and analysis of the group identity, cultural identity,regional identity and professional identity of the four aspects of the new generation of white-collar immigrant status of social identity,To sublimation of the existing research has a certain significance.Minority areas in terms of cultural or economic,there are significant differences with the mainland urban areas, the new generation of white-collar immigrants in the process of immigration, not just the transfer of space,more experienced conflict culture5their contradictions constantly adapt to adapt to the ethnic minority areas.Through the investigation discovery,new generation of white-collar immigrants have a strong sense of group identity, in interpersonal communication with local residents rarely interact;They exhibit the mainstream culture Lhasa separate cultural identity model;They generally said that Lhasa’s natural environment and social economic life level worse than their home, not willing to settle in Lhasa;They have not high degree of recognition of their occupation, low job satisfaction.In general, the overall social identity for the new generation of the white-collar immigrants is not high.Including the impact of factors:social communication, national culture, Plateau unique environment,local memory and for their own occupation of discontent.The new generation of the white-collar immigrants are entering Lhasa, facing all kinds of social identity dilemma.Promoting social identity for the new generation of the white-collar immigrants, helping them to better integrate into social life in Lhasa,is conducive to the construction of the unity of the nation and the socialism harmonious society.
