There Measures of seal making has changed, form traditional hand-carving tolaser-carving and photosensitive making. Photosensitive seal, which can be inkedrepeatedly, have been widely used by companies, because of its brightness andconvenience. Meanwhile, materials of those seals are cheap and can be easily bought.Most of all, it only costs less than ten minutes to make a new seal. All thosecharacteristics make them easily forged. Actually, there are more and more casesconcerned with seals in the documents. Highly-forged seal brings difficulty andopportunity to identification field. This experiment aims to contribute to documentinspection, by studying characteristics of laser-carving and photosensitive seals.The whole paper concludes six chapters. The first chapter presents material andcharacteristics of laser-carving and photosensitive seal and talk about ways to identifyseals. The second one presents three normal ways to forge seals, most highly used ofwhich is to forge from a seal print.The third and forth chapter present the measure of laser-caving and photosensitiveseals.The fifth one presents some elements which laser-carving machine affects and characteristics of laser-carving seal print. Experiment proves that those elementsaffects seal print a lot.The sixth one presents some elements which photosensitive making machineaffects and characteristics of photosensitive seal print. Experiment proves that thoseelements affects seal print a lot.
