Impact Of Urbanization On The Way Of Farmers’ Livelihood Change

This article selects a village（Zhuanglanghu） of Hui inhabit in Xinjiang Manas county asthe research object, from the view of Urbanization Impact of western urbanization developmentin ethnic minority areas on the change of means of ethnic minorities livelihood. Hui householdliving ways change of Zhuanglanghu village reflected the impacts of urbanization process in theminority regions on ethnic villages, due to the special geographical environment and habit ofreligious belief, makes Zhuanglanghu village Hui household livelihood development bothuniversal and other national development, also has the particularity of the national developmentPaper is divided into six chapters altogether:The first chapter defines the concept and application of theoretical basis and papers relatedto the introduction. The second chapter firstly described the history of Hui village householdlivelihoods change, and then from demographic, ethnic, economic development, presented anoverview of the village Zhuanglanghu households. The third chapter in the field survey, based oninterviews and questionnaires, from livelihood diversification, industrialization of agriculture,labor, five rural credit sector and government intervention, empirical analysis of the urbanizationof the village households Hui Zhuanglanghu livelihoods of farmers favorable impact of changes;With economic development, minority villages gradual integration with the market economy,timely to promote urbanization in rural areas. The fourth chapter further empirical analysis theadverse effects of urban-rural dual structure of the households in the village Hui Zhuanglanghu,mainly in terms of policies, systems, infrastructure, government intervention and ruraltransformation, etc…The fifth chapter put forward some suggestion on local farmers’ livelihood.From urban and rural areas as a whole, changing government function and farmers’ participationaspects. The sixth chapter is conclusion and prospect. The article concluded and discussed, at thesame time express outlook and analysis.According to the national economics, theory of government organization and theurban-rural integration theory, using empirical analysis of field investigation, interview,questionnaire survey and statistical analysis method, the influence of urbanization and driving,farmers in production and lifestyle changes, changes in farmers’ livelihood, rural economy haschanged from the front and reverse obstruction two perspectives, system characteristics and rulesof the western minority area social economic and cultural life of the town changes under theinfluence of urbanization, and proposed the corresponding countermeasures according to theexisting problems. The study found: Hui Zhuanglanghu village households affected livelihoodsof farmers by the national and local changes in urbanization trends, rapidly development ofurbanization has a favorable impact on rural and farmers’ production and lifestyle, but also localethnic characteristics.Government strong organizational and target interventions to accelerate theurbanization development in minority areas, expanding employment space and sources ofincome minorities, to speed up the market, the process of ethnic minority farmers diversifylivelihoods change, to improve minority areas to improve production, living conditions,improve income minorities, living standards, and create favorable conditions and opportunities.However, it should be noted that the government’s macro-control can be separated from the localenvironmental conditions and resource-based industries, and the development of strong government intervention to level and market structure characteristics. Urbanization development,especially the integration of urban and rural construction should follow the path of sustainabledevelopment, the government, businesses and farmers, such as the role of accurate positioning,a reasonable allocation of multi-stakeholder relations, promote the implementation of fair andequitable win-win cooperation mechanism, the parties promote economic development tomaximize the benefits of the case.
