Analysis On Influencing Factors And Employment Status Of The Disabled In Hunan Province

Our country will inevitable increased social costs in the process of disability human development.The disabled people is an important force in promoting economic and social development, so it is one of the symbols of the progress of human civilization to care and undertakings for disabled persons, the best important task to promote career forward for disabled persons, is also in order to build a comprehensive well-off. The disabled employment is the best way to actively integrated into the social life, is the optimal choice of disabled people realize their own value, also is the best guarantee of a harmonious society construction. It is task of government to promote employment, is also the responsibility of the enterprise.It is a people’s livelihood, and is also an economic problem.This article has carried on the comprehensive review and refine about the domestic and foreign related studies of employment for the disabled.Drawing lessons from the related concepts of employment for the disabled and the related theoretical basis for reference,and using the dynamic monitoring of2012years for Hunan province under2006the national second disability sampling survey data of hunan province, analysis the status of employment for the disabled status of hunan province, finding out a series of problems of employment for the disabled. The paper using the methods of contingency table and logistic regression analysis to analysis of hunan province disabled basic demographic variables, personal situation, family characteristics and social support environment variables that how to impact on the employment of handicapped people in single or multifactor,finding out the factors that affect the disabled employment problems of hunan province.Statistical results show that the gender, age, place of residence, level of education for the disabled, marital status, disability categories, disability grade, whether to have professional skills, engel’s coefficient, whether or not to participate in social insurance, the welfare and whether the government to provide professional skills have an impact on employment for the disabled, and have different influence degree. Men between the ages of20and45live in rural unmarried or marriage more likely to have a spouse’s employment for the disabled; Disability types of speech or physical disabilities, hearing disability to a lesser degree and have professional skills are easier to obtain employment for the disabled; Family engel’s coefficient under40%and more than60%of the employment for disabled persons; and attend social insurance without the welfare and government organizations of professional skills training for disabled people is easier to achieve employment.According to statistical results and the analysis of present situation of disability employment, the article discusses and summarizes the employment for disabled persons and analysis of the reasons for disabled employment,putting forward the countermeasure and suggestion to conclusion from the government, individual and society three aspects.
