Factors Affecting The Employment Of People With Disabilities

Employment is an important way for a person to realize self-worth and integrate into society.But the disabled is often in a weak position in the job market,which due to lack of physical conditions and special education.If the unemployment of the disabled is not resolved,it not only increases the burden on the family,but also is not conducive to the harmonious development of society.Only by doing everything possible to solve the employment problem of the disabled can we help the disabled to improve the quality of life and realize the self-worth,which is also practicing the fairness and justice of the society.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study and analyze the factors that affect the employment of persons with disabilities.Based on the data of the employment of disabled persons in Jiangsu Province,this paper uses the method of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis to analyze the factors that affect the employment of the disabled in the following three aspects:based on the data of the disabled persons in Jiangsu Province,The analysis of the personal characteristics of persons with disabilities,such as the level of education,disability,gender and other disabilities on the employment of persons with disabilities;Second,further analysis of the disabled level of education and gender,age,household registration and the degree of interaction Effect;Third,examine the impact of disability on the employment of persons with disabilities.After empirical analysis,this paper draws the following conclusions:First,without considering the interaction level of education level,it is found that the level of education has a positive effect on employment,the severity of disability has a negative effect on employment and there is an inverted "U" relationship between age and employment.The employment of agricultural households is better than that of urban households,and social security and other sources of life have negative effects on employment.Second,in the case of considering the interaction effect of education level,the increase in the level of education can compensate for the decline in the probability of employment caused by the increase in disability,offset the increase in employment probability caused by age increase,narrow the gap between urban and rural household registration employment gap,but will exacerbate the employment inequality between men and women.Third,the improvement of the level of education of mental disability have no significant impact on the employment.Finally,according to the above conclusions,this paper put forward relevant policy recommendations on the aspects of the construction of employment system,education and training system and the rehabilitation service system...
