Solving the disabled problem reasonably is an important component part of building a socialist harmonious society. Employment for disabled persons as an important premise and basis to participate in and return to society has already become the hot and difficult problem that government and the community concerned about. When we show our sympathy and attention to the disabled, we should also change their way of life, respect and provide the opportunity to earn, realize their equal rights.This paper carefully reviewed relevant research on the employment of the disabled people and summarized the previous research achievements of the experts. Meanwhile, based on thorough study of the domestic and international related employment security theory and reality, this article analyzes the current employment of the disabled and a variety of factors affecting its employment based on the combination of Henan province as the research object and the 2010 Henan disabled employment training project census figures, then puts forward recommendations to promote the employment. This paper utilizes a lot of data and graph, with intuitive methods for readers to show the employment of the disabled people in Henan, through comparing the data of the national disabled; we can speculate the national situation employment of the disabled people and find the influence factors.As a disabled populous province of Henan, over the years we have insisted on proportional employment for disabled, the work for disabled persons has made great progress by enlarging fund investment, exploring the market demand orientation and improving all kinds of training and service. Above these, Henan province has obtained a lot of valuable statistics data by conducting training project employment for disabled persons and large-scale a wide range of employment conditions for the disabled on a baseline survey. From the basic situation of Henan province of employment for disabled persons, this paper finds some questions, such as the natural characteristics of the gender difference is very big, gender differences has great influence for the employment of the disabled, different age stages has different employment proportion, the disabled class rank deeply affects employment chances of success and so on. Meanwhile powerful real data suggest that social features of cultural degree, residence category, family situation and vocational training also influence employment. Overall, the discriminations of employing units, the internal and external malaises of welfare enterprises, the low qualities of the disabled people, the absence of relevant mechanisms and imperfection of employment policy system, they are all serious influences and restricts the employment for disabled persons. Finally, according to the relevant national government departments, provincial and municipal policies, combined with the actual employment of the disabled, this paper put forward the effective ways to promote the employment of the disabled people by perfecting legal laws and regulations and establishing the security service system, strengthening the propaganda to change the attitude of society and the disabled towards employment issues, improving education trainings to enhance the comprehensive qualities of the disabled and realizing multi-channel coordinating development, Especially advocating individual employment, taking up on entrepreneurship and so on.
