A Study On Institutional Endowment Service Supply And Demand Of Shanxi

As the largest developing country, China has rapidly entered the aging society. In2007, aged60or older population has reached153.4million, about11.6%of the totalpopulation, and by2050will reach450million, accounting for31.27percent of thetotal population over the same period. With the accelerated aging, the need formaintenance and care of the elderly continues to grow, they need social and communityservice pension, that brought tremendous pressure and challenges to the traditionalmodel.The18thmeeting of the CPC report put forward to accelerate social developmentwith the focus on improving people’s livelihood, and strive to make all the people tolearn medical services, a sense of security, and housing. Faced with an aging populationand increasing demand for deepening the elderly pension agency services, to solve theproblem of large institutional pension elderly population, there must be targeted to carryout institutional care services from China’s specific national conditions. Therefore, thestatus of the development of domestic institutional care services in-depth inquiry isnecessary.In this paper, institutional pension of Shanxi Province as the research object, on thebasis of the relevant research institutions pension theory, in the form of visits andquestionnaires, field trips Yuncheng sunshine older apartments and the other twopension institutions. We survey of200people who was50-year-old randomly, andthrough the study to the supply and demand of pension agency services of Yuncheng,identify the problems of the current pension services of Shanxi exists, then there aresome suggestions are targeted.The results showed that the main problem in Shanxi pension service agencies thatexist in the development process. First,there is the gap between demand and supplycapacity of beds. Second, the level of service pension agency is not high. Third, theaged city of Shanxi lack of industry standards and effective supervision.Last, there is agap between the income of the elderly and the pension agency charges. To solve theseproblems, a sound development of the aged Shanxi suggestions as follows: First, thedevelopment and implementation of relevant laws and regulations, institutional pension policies; the second is to strengthen the institutional pension regulatory mechanisms; thelast but not the least is to strengthen the institutional and professional service pensionlevel, to ensure quality service.Although the development of Shanxi city pension agency is rapidly, there are still anumber of issues, but with the government’s ability to govern, and the importance ofsocial pension for institutional development, and I believe there will be more and moresocial forces to join the pension agency services market supply them to meet theincreasingly diverse needs of the elderly.
