Social Division Of Labor And All-round Development Of Human Being

The main content of Marxism is Human being. It seems that the research of political and economic philosophy which Marx developed is one significant way to help answer this core issue. Based on Marx’s labor division theory, this dissertation aim to describe the implication of "elimination division of labor", identify the definition of all-round development of human beings, and further, explore the realistic foundation and conditions of achieving this development. It is widely believed that division of labor has created tremendous productivity,while several researches indicate this division also leads to inadequate,mechanized and discriminatory development of human being.Indeed, division of labor has maximally stimulated the capacity of human being, as well as facilitated the possible potential of them, and eventually promoted the all-round social relations of human being. It is necessary to consider the implication of "elimination division of labof" and all-round development of human being based on this dual role of labor division.According to Marxism, human dependence would lead to nature division of labor.Human independence which based on the material dependent relationship may result in spontaneous division of labor.Free individuality which formulated on the basis of man’s free and overall development might promote consciously division of labor.This dissertation will discuss Marx’s labor division theory and its implication on all-round development of human beings from the perspective of the three different division methods. Through analyzing the content of labor division, Marx internalized the richness of labor division theory which proposed by former classic Ideologists, as well as critically assessing the division theory which supported by classic plutonomists. Through critiquing the conceit socialism and its illusion method he also discloses the intrinsic contradiction of human being under the capitalist mode of production.In order to realize people’s all-round and free development, Marx propose the method of abandoning old division, which means wiping out the people’s development limitations that caused by the spontaneous division of labor.The dissertation indicates that identifying the difference between division of labor and division of worker, and further reconsidering about "division","elimination division" and "all-round and free development" are points to achieve this goal.Enormous rich material should be gathered. Then, more free time and space should be provided to people. Only through divisionpeople can be aware of their sociality, and therefore realize human’ ssociality. In other words, from the perspective of Marx, people’s all-round and free development should be embodied in social integrity under the division of labor. Finally and most importantly, it is necessary to break down the material and division control of human. This is the only way to enforce the subjectivity of human, as well as awaking people’s consciousness, and consequently realize the fully occupation to themselves.
