Research On Legal Aid Work In Xinyu City

Legal aid is also called legal salvation or legal assistance.It refers the legal form of institutionalization made by state and government, providing free legal service for difficult economic groups or the parties of special cases. The purpose is to safeguard the legitimate right sand interests of difficult group or the parties of special cases and eventually realize “everyone is equal before the law”. Legal aid system is a judicial relief system implemented commonly by many countries in world. At present, improving the legal aid work and perfecting legal aid system is the important guarantee for building a well-off society in advance and building a harmonious society.Since2002,the Xinyu city legal aid work continued to develop and achieved good results. It plays more and more important function in service economy development and maintains social stability.But there are some problems on the stage of development. Such as the serious shortage of legal aid stuff, low legal professional stuff quality, can’t ensured service quality,the lack of legal aid funds and so on. The reasons for the above problems are various. Both the government attention is insufficient, and the financial aid to the legal investment is not enough. There is also a lack of cooperation between.departments, legal aid propaganda is not in place, etc......This paper is based on the actual situation of legal aid work in Xinyu city, combined with the developing situation about legal aid at home and abroad, which pointed out the existing problem, and analysised the reasons carefully.It also proposed ideas and countermeasures of solving problems, hoping to promote the development of legal aid to benefit the vulnerable groups to achieve the true sense of fairness and justices.
