A Study Of Marx And Engels’ Subjective Initiative Theory

Marx and Engels’ theory of initiative ability is one of the core of Marxist theory and it is also the essence of Marxist theory. Under the guidance of critique against Hegel’s "absolute spirit" and Feuerbach’s "humanism". Marx and Engels discuss the initiative thought of realistic individual from the historical, practical, social, natural angle.The paper elaborates Marx and Engels ’initiative’ thinking from three aspects. The first is in the field of epistemology, Marx and Engle’s theory of initiative ability is based on the materialism.It improves the understandings in the field of subjective thought and adds practical aspect in it. Second, the relationship between man and nature, the theory emphasizes that individuals’ subjective should play a practical role as much as it can under the nature law to achieve harmonious development between man and nature. Finally, in the field of social and history, they insisted on dialectical materialism and held the opinion that social being determines social consciousness, the economic base determines the superstructure and its will affect the social being about the counter-productive. Therefore, we need to make the most of the initiative theory and continuously improve productivity. At the same time, they emphasized on the role of the people in the process of the social and historical development. Respects the historical role of the individual and stresses the importance of personal values. In addition, this paper also studied the practical vale of the initiation to realize the "China Dream".
