The Study Of Female Migrant Workers Adapting To The City

With the continuous development of social economy, more and more rural laborer from the original go to urban for work, the rural laborer who have found work in urban areas is known as the migrant workers. And in these migrant workers, women have some uniqueness, known as "female", "outside female job-seeker", etc. In the process of adaptation to city life they usually face some problems.The author mainly use qualitative research method to study the adaptability problem. The study is based on rural migrant, syudy the adaptability problem. mainly uses the purpose sampling method, based on the principle of information saturation, is expected to talk about 10 people. According to the interview data sorting, analyze problems adaptting to the city from lifefrom city culture, economic and psychological, and use correlation analysis. Indicates the main factors affecting migrant city adaptation.And on the basis of the edge Angle of view, analysis the urban adaptability problems of female, the results will be obtained.The results are as follows: first, although that ten female migrant from different areas, have different backgrounds before they work in city, but they will face some similar problems while living in city.Second, the female’s ego to protect consciousness is poor, and have no basic law consciousness and common sense. Once encounter problems, they lack of the ability to solve.Third, in the process of interviews i found that the female think they have obvious difference with urbanian, some even have a sense of inferiority.The author, taking advantage of the social work perspective theory, let the female themselves in the face of the advantages and strengths, to help the director to set up confidence, develop their skills of solving the problem alone.The practice of advantage perspective Starts from the following aspects:First, use the advantage of social work perspective theory need the support of government and nongovernmental organizations, The government formulate related policies and systems and implement, but also need using the power of NGO for migrant workers to carry out social work related tasks.To help them correct view of oneself and set up a positive, optimistic attitude toward life, face up to and strengthen their advantages, make them master the ability to solve problems by themselves.Third, with the help of non-governmental organizations, carry out the work team to migrant workers. Although rural migrant female living in diffent environment before entering the city, but In the process of adapt to the city,there are some common features.In this case, a social worker can adopt the method of group work,divided the female into a group,make solving problems as the guidance,let them share experience to grow up together.
