The Case Syudy Of The Group Event Caused By The Chengdu “Tianxu Auto Parts City” Fire

Currently, our country is in the key period of social transformation.Social transformation continues creating new social contradictions. At the same time, the diversification of social interests tend to cause the social contradiction intense, creating more and more problems.Therefore, mass incidents continue to occur in our country, and it also shows increasing trend.Group events will not only affect the image of the Chinese Communist Party and our government,but also a threat to people’s life and property. Meanwhile, it will pose serious constraints to the stability and development of the society.In response to the process of group events, all levels of the government is in the dominant position.In order to effectively prevent and control the occurrence of mass incidents, the government at all levels has taken positive measures and has made some helpful experience.However, in dealing with the management of group events, there are still some problems that the government cannot ignore.Throughout the recent influential group incidents, although some factors are not necessary, but if we trace to its source, the fundamental reason is because people trying to feedback reasonable problems but cannot find an effective way to communicate with the departments because of the imperfect mechanism.Or the general public cannot get the accurate answer from the relevant departments,thus resulting the simple social problems become complicated.Finally, qualitative change at some stage after long pent. The problems get worsen and the group events take shape.For the group events, domestic scholars mainly focus on the causes of its exploration and coping strategies.And these results provide good theoretical support to deal with the management of group events.Based on the summary of studying related theoretical results,I select a typical group event case, taking the sparrow’s deep and micro analysis method for researching the relevant problems and summarizing the key period of China’s transformation both in the economic and social transition of dealing with group events. I believe this paper can provide theory to extend the field of research, and has a certain significance in practice for the prevention and control.This paper chooses the group event caused by the Chengdu “tianxu auto parts city” fire which happened on December 24, 2012 as the specific case.I use the theory of responsible government, the 4R model of public crisis management and concept of 6C of the crisis management for detailed discussion and analysis.The full text is divided into the following parts: firstly, introduces the research background,related theories and its significance. Secondly, describes the case. Thirdly, discusses and analyzes the key problems. Fourthly, extends the case and summarizes the experience and lessons from this case.Combining with the relevant theories, this part reveals the enlightenment of handling mechanism to group events and finally summarize the whole text.
