However, as the frequent shipping trade, it also brings another major negative impact, that is the phenomenon of marine invasive species is very serious in Australia.Every year, lots kinds of marine invasive species are intentionally or unintentionally carried to Australia by ships, which brings great harm to Australia’s local economy, ecological environment and species diversity. Therefore, for this huge harm, Australia attaches great importance to prevent and control marine invasive species from the outset, and as a result, which makes Australia standing in the world leading role all the time in terms of preventing and controlling marine invasive species.
