Emergency management of public opinion has become a crucial test of the administration ability of public security in the new period. Especially the new media such as microblog and wechat have appeared and become the main network public opinion platform of generation and transmission. Network public opinion has occupied half of public opinion. The public opinion management of the public security organ emergency should not only keep the traditional medias but also make more full use of official media such as microblog and wechat to occupy the commanding heights and voice of the network public opinion emergency. Starting from the respect and safeguard of public right, respond to public concern with fact truth, and guide the public opinion to a positive development. To establish and perfect the public opinion monitoring mechanism, and implement the public opinion emergency crisis in the early discovery, early treatment and early defuse state, and strive for the crisis in the bud.In this paper, based on the research of scholars at home and abroad in crisis management and public opinion, the author puts forward the concept of public opinion emergency management in the public security organ.
