The Synthesis And Purification Of Some New Psychoactive Substances

In recent years, problems related to drug use is becoming serious all around the world, as is getting worse at domestic. The drug manufacturers and traffickers want to find new drug substitutes to evade legal scantions, so the catagories of New Psychoactive Substances is becoming more and the renewal of them is extremely rapid. The New Psychoactive Substances is defined as a single or mixture quality by The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crimes(UNODC) which will be abused or maybe be harmful to the public but havn’t been controlled by The United Nations "1961 Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs" and “psychotropic substances Convention for 1971”. They are divided into the following seven categories, synthetic cannabinoids, cathinone, ketamine, phenethylamine, piperazidine, plants and other categories.In order to detect the content of Confiscated drugs more efficientlly and accurately, the drug datebase was established by National drug laboratory, so all the date of the New Psychoactive Substances need to be collected. In our work, we have synthesised 10 g standards of the following 7 substances, 1-(3-Trifluoromethylphenyl) piperazine hydrochloride, p-methoxy-N,alpha-dimethylphenethylamine hydrochloride, 2C-C, 1-Phenyl-2-amino-1-propanone, 2-(methylamino)propiophenone,(1-(5-Fluoropentyl)-1H-indol-3-yl)(4-Methylnaphthalen-1-yl)Methanone,(1-Butyl-1H-indol-3-yl)(2,2,3,3-tetramethylcyclopropyl)methanone. Further more, we have developed there synthetic route and found some simple purification methods, which will guide the standards synthesis by grassroots anti drug divisions. So the situation that purchasing some standards rely entirely on foreign market will be resolved and the purchasing expenses will be reduced.
